Agnetha Faltskog

Though she's earned an impact as a solo performer within Sweden, Agnetha Faltskog will always be remembered as the 'ABBA' member, one of the most loved and well-regarded pop bands of all time. At the age of 15, after leaving school Agnetha Faltskog started singing in Bernt Enghardt's band soon gaining fans. The singer was signed to a record deal with Enghardt. Her debut album topped the Swedish charts. Bjornulvaeus, who she later wed was her husband as she joined ABBA. Over the course of eight years, the group was one of the biggest music groups in the world, earning many platinum and gold awards all across the globe. After ABBA they released three albums - "Wrap Your Arms Around Me', Eyes of a Woman' And I Stand Alone'. Each of them was hugely successful in Sweden. The band also enjoyed a huge popularity across Europe. They were not a major hit on the American scene. ABBA appeared on an jukebox series called 'Mamma Mia! '.
